Antivirus alone isn't enough

ANTI-VIRUS JUST ISN’T ENOUGH ANYMORE, YOU NEED THE GOOD GUYS ON YOUR SIDE!!

Introduction
Many companies call our help desk daily in the un ending quest to find answers to the over growing network problems. Our online ticketing systems increasingly registers desperate calls caused by network failures more than any other problem reported at our helpdesk. Gone are the days when viruses simply corrupted your network, costing your organization time and money to clean up the damage. Today’s threats consist of ‘under the radar’ approaches in the form of multi-vector attacks, which operate across email and the Internet and are designed to get past traditional security tools.

Email and web-based attacks like phishing and spy ware are costing business and consumer’s loss in productivity and system downtime, financial losses, as well as brand damage. The need for creating certainty in all our exchange of electronic information is clear, whether this is across email, the Internet, VoIP or instant messaging. Achieving it, without hampering the speed and continuity of business over the Internet, requires our at most attention. Businesses today have a clear need for real time internet-level protection from known and unknown email and web-based threats.

To assess how serious cyber crime has grown a study conducted in 2004 relieved that, for the first time the proceeds of cyber crime – estimated at more than $105 billion - surpassed the underworld’s profit from illegal drugs. Organized crime is finding a ready source of chinks in our complex, but often haphazard and reactive, electronic defenses. It is increasingly become vital for organizations not only to rely on in house anti viruses and firewalls but also to seek for real-time Internet security protections as the latter is becoming more and more useless by day.
